Shea Moisture Kids Detangler Review

I know you're probably looking at this like "Ari, why are you using a kids detangler and you're not a kid?" Well A) I'm a product junkie so when I saw this in Target I read this as Coconut & Hibiscus Kids Extra Moisturizing Detangler w/ Slippery Elm & Marshmallow Extract and B) Why are you not using this detangler? Ignore the fact that this product is marketed for kids and pay attention to the fact that it helps manage frizz, add major moisture and give your hair shine.

I picked this up a my nearest Target for no more than $11.99, most of Shea Moisture's products will run you between $9.99 and $12.99. For the quality of the ingredients, the size of the products and longevity of the product I don't mind reaching in my purse to pay that.
This product much like Shea Moisture's other products has
  • No Sulfates
  • No Parabens
  • No Phthalates
  • No Synthetic Fragrance
  • No Paraffin
  • No Gluten
  • No Propylene Glycol
  • No Mineral Oil
  • No PABA
  • No Synthetic Color
  • No DEA
  • No Animal Testing

If all of those benefits don't entice you into trying this for your head and your little ones head. Get into these ingredients and tell me you won't at least look twice at this next time you head into the hair aisle in Target.

  • Water, your hair's #1 moisturizer.
  • Coconut oil, hydrates and protects while adding curl definition.
  • Hibiscus, adds shine while maintaining volume.
  • Slippery Elm Extract, smoothing and soothing emollient.
  • Shea Butterexcellent for locking in moisture without leaving your hair greasy and heavy.
  • Neem Seed oil, has great anti-bacterial, antifungal and anti-parasitic properties.
All these goodies wrapped up in a detangling spray for you and your little one's heads to make the process go by like a breeze and to help prep for further styling or manipulation. I love that you don't need to completely saturate the hair with spray to get it detangled, I spray about 3 pumps to get my strands coated and then an additional pump on my ends.

You can pick this magic in a bottle at/on:
  • Target
  • Bed, Bath & Beyond
  • Duane Reade
  • Target.com
  • Walgreens.com
